In The Beginning….

Your Type of Secretary was formed in 2006 and has since expanded ten-fold.

Initially the company started transcribing legal documents including court transcription, letters and many other different types of correspondence for solicitors and barristers. We were then approached to transcribe for RTE radio producing headlines and news articles from live radio shows as a subcontractor for a larger transcription company.

Our transcription business progressed when we secured our first clients in the property sector – namely building surveyors. Since undertaking a strong marketing initiative we have accumulated many clients who have been using our service for a number of years and who have also recommended our services to their colleagues and other companies.

Where We Are Now….

Our client base covers the UK including Central London, Essex, Kent, Surrey, Devon, Gloucester, Newcastle, Liverpool, Oxford and even Spain.

We have a dedicated team of typists who are fully versed in building terms and phrases including a 24-hour turnaround.

What We Can Do…

We have dealt with reports for small properties, million pound townhouses, barns, commercial buildings and refurbishments. We specialise in building surveys and all areas of the property market and we also have knowledge and experience in graphic design, producing templates and artwork to your specific requirements.

Your Type of Secretary is managed by Anita Coscolin who has been audio typing and undertaking secretarial duties for over 20 years and employed by companies such as Woolworths (Regional Director’s Secretary), Brink’s Mat, temporary secretary in the areas of Probate, Criminal and Contract law and freelance transcriber for many more. With typing speeds of 100 wpm and plenty of experience in the field you will be guaranteed of a first-class service from all of the team.
